- They are specialist translators working in a limited range of fields.
- Their command of their target language is excellent.
- Their command of their source language(s) is well above average for this profession.
- Their understanding of the subject-matter is such that they could in most cases have authored the texts themselves.
- They don't waste time using dictionaries - they 'are' dictionaries.
- They have a small, carefully selected and well-nurtured client base.
- They maintain excellent relations with those clients.
- They never miss a deadline.
- They provide extra services at no cost, even without being asked.
- They are available, on call, and in many cases are able to offer their European clients overnight delivery of 6,000 words.
- They can be relied upon to deliver a minimum of 6,000 words of print-ready translation per day, and can handle up to 10,000 words per day on an occasional basis.
